What is Hidden Hart Ministry?
Why, dear friend, it is ministry to the hidden Hart, that is to Jesus, who like a deer looks upon you through the lattice. As He gazes into our darkness, His light shining through the world’s web, you perceive Him lingering just on the other side of the wall. You’ve had glimpses of the light splashing in through the night. You’ve sensed the rustle of His footsteps in your heartache. You’ve waited quietly in hope of hearing more. He is just beyond your visibility, but you know that He is present and you long to see Him more fully. How do you minister to One so elusive, so strong, so untamable?
The Hidden Heart
He is also the hidden Heart to whom we minister our love. Such a Heart, so large, so uncontainable, is the One Who pumps the blood of salvation out to all of humanity, Who reaches into the darkest evils to retrieve the most broken, Who courses through the wilderness of time to search for truth seekers, Who waits for a window to open each hungry mind, Who hears every prayer in quiet solitude, Who knows every atom, every thought, every desire in everyone…. But how to love One so hidden? How to minister to One so unfathomable. How to give to One so complete?
Dear beloved one, we have a great undertaking to presume to live by His first commandment, which is to:
“Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” (Matt 22:37)
What Does This Mean?
We cannot deeply love Someone whom we don’t know, therefore, we must determine to know Him, in order to love Him with our entire self. We should seek to know not only His character and His nature, but hopefully even His intimate hidden heart. In doing so, we participate in Hidden Heart Ministry, AKA Hidden Hart Ministry.
This web site is dedicated to enrich your intimate knowledge of your God who is real, personal and receptive to your gift of self. He delights to be near you. Even though He does not reveal Himself in an intimate way to everyone who sits in a church pew, He does promise,
“Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you…” (James 4:8)
He actively responds to our search to go deeper, even if His response at times seems delayed.
“Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” (Matt. 7:7)
This Web Site…
This web site is accompanied with a blog to help you increasingly encounter His presence, to experience intimacy with God; perhaps you will touch His face, feel His breath, and come to know Him better than you know your closest friend. He is so awe inspiring, that to know God is to love God.
Usually ministry is thought of as ministering to people, often with teaching, so what is meant by ministering to Jesus? The term is not used here to imply that we should teach God, but that we worship and serve Him. The Hebrew and Greek definitions for words translated into “minister” (King James) primarily mean: to serve, to wait upon, to worship, to give or perform charitable functions, to commit, to contribute, to supply or provide relief.
Minister to Others
Jesus did not come to be ministered to, but to minister to others, (Mat. 20:28) yet the Gospels tell us of a few events when individuals did minister to Jesus. Some examples follow: (I am planning to shoot a photo that should fit well here)
“And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on His head.: (Mark 4:13)
“Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.” (John 12:3)
“And Behold, a Woman in The City,
“And behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed His feet, and anointed them with the ointment.” (Luke 7:37-38)
He is calling now, followers to be like these women, to be bridal souls for the bridegroom. How do we anoint the feet and hair of someone whom we cannot see? What is our spikenard?”Spikenard” in the texts above come from the Greek nard and pistikos (Strong’s Concordance, Gr. 3487 & 4101) Pistikos means, “Trustworthy … genuine … unadulterated.” The root word ispistis, meaning,
“Persuasion … credence …conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher) … reliance upon Christ for salvation… constancy … assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.” (Strong’s, #4102)
When We Mix Generous Worship
When we mix generous worship with full trust and faith, we use spikenard as our gift. If we boldly trust Him in spite of those who judge and threaten us, expressing our love for him openly, we wash His feet. As we press forward to get near to Him and remain faithful at any cost, we begin to get the oil on our hands that will bless Him. The spikenard that we spill out is fragrant to Him and permeates our whole house, (John 12:3) meaning our entire being.
Are You Being Drawn to Live More Closely to Him
Are you being drawn to live more closely to Him, to anoint His hair with oil, to wash His feet with tears, to know Him as your Beloved, to lift up your inner court to Him like incense blowing into the Holy Place? (Song of Solomon 1:12) Indeed, He perceives your praise and reverence like inhaling lovely fragrance.
“Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense;
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” (Psalms 141:2)
He will draw you, inspire you to run to Him and bring you into the King’s chambers. (Song of Solomon 1:4) Listen; it is the voice of your Beloved saying,“Rise up my love, my fair one, and come away.” (SS 2:10)
Perhaps you have just entered a new season of your life. Your winter is past and new flowers, which are delightful insights, now begin to bud. Rise up and embrace His call to be near to Him.

The Mission of Hidden Hart Ministry
This Beloved, who has waited to be heard and understood by willing hearts wants one thing: that we manifest His love without reservation. How can we rise to such a challenge? Yet I Corinthians thirteen tells us that we can understand all things, serve in mighty ways, even do miracles and die a sacrificial, painful death, but if we do not have love, we are nothing. Love is not just recommended or assigned, but it is essential -continuously. To love our God with heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as our self is the fulfillment of our call. Is it too much? Is it out of reach? It cannot be or He would not have commanded us to do so.
Therefore, we are on this planet to complete love school. The assignments are rigorous and demanding. The self often feels crushed in the task of loving another fully. Hang on and take the ride of this roller coster full of fulfillment and joy, sorrow and loss, sacrifice and truth. Grab hold of Him who is love for He is present for the whole duration of the journey. The purpose of the blog is to help you pass your love assignments, to release your soul to love your God, to minister to Him with your entire trusting heart.
